My lifelong passion for the outdoors has turned me into an avid fisherman. I have been very fortunate to grow up on one of the best lakes in the country. I am blessed to have a dad who taught me about the outdoors and introduced me to fishing as a child. God has given me this opportunity to pursue this dream and do what I love for a living. I have the best family support system. My parents have always been there for me to assure that I had the opportunities to do what I wanted for a living. I live in Benton, Ky with my wife Brittany, who is my best friend, and 100% behind the choices I make. We have two beautiful children, Brynn and Brady, who are our world. I can’t begin to thank my family enough for all their support.

I love to compete. The competition is what drives you as an angler. I am learning new things every day as each day on the water is different. Never take your time on the water for granted. Always remember the most important things in life are not things. Faith, Family, & Friends. Chase your dreams!

    God Bless,

    Brandon

    BIO

    Married: Holly

    Children: Brock

Education:BS-Agri-business, Arkansas Tech University 3.17 GPA

Biography: I was born and raised on a farm in NW Arkansas, close to Beaver Lake. There were three things that my life revolved around growing up on the farm: hard work, athletics, and the great outdoors. My father taught me at a very young age that the only way you can get what you want out of life is to work hard and be dedicated to what you have committed yourself to doing. I have tried to uphold these values throughout my life. In high school I was selected as an all-state player in both football and baseball. In college I earned the title as an all-conference defensive lineman.

Although I was involved in athletics my whole life, my true dream was to be a full-time professional fisherman. I knew once I graduated college I had to be successful at work in order to be able to afford to fish tournaments. I started with Tyson Foods, Inc. in May of 1993, 2 days following college graduation. I was promoted quickly through the management ranks and in April of 2000 I was promoted to the position of plant manager at the Randall Road processing facility. At 28, I was the youngest plant manager that Tyson Foods had at that time. During my last 6 years with Tyson Foods, Inc. I managed 500 employees in a fast-paced, highly-productive processing environment with a $31 million annual budget.

Through hard work, disciplined investing, and with the encouragement from an extremely supportive wife I left my job with Tyson Foods in February of 2006 to pursue my true dream and ultimate career goal of being a full-time professional fisherman. I have been truly blessed in life and I plan on carrying on these same values of hard work and dedication in my fishing career that have enabled me to be so successful in my previous endeavors.

Jason was born and raised in Eastern Oklahoma.  He grew up hunting on family land and fishing on the local lake.  He played basketball throughout high school where he earned a scholarship to play at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK.  He graduated with a degree in education in 1998 and began his profession as a coach.  When not fishing, he enjoys spending time with his three daughters: Ali, Ana, Jaslyn.

Over the years, Jason has competed in local and regional tournaments and has had a great amount of success.  He started his tournament career fishing with various partners including his uncles and his dad and together they won many team tournaments.  Jason also fished individually in pro-am events which proved to be successful and helped to build his confidence as a professional angler.  His desire to compete was outgrowing the local tournament circuit and he wanted to see if he had what it takes to fish at a national level.  His big break came October 2007 when he won a Stren Series event on Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, Missouri and he knew that victory would help pay his way to fish against the big boys!

Jason's love of fishing and the support of his family helped him make the decision to stop coaching and begin a career as a touring professional angler.  In the last 5 years, he has 8 wins on a national level.

  • Mark Rose

Rose Outdoors is the home of professional bass angler Mark Rose. Mark is known for his ledge fishing knowledge and is a 6 time winner in FLW competition.

Rose is considered as one of the veterans of the FLW Tour. He won his first Tour event and dominated the field at Pickwick Lake, winning by more than 5 pounds. Throughout the years, Rose has amassed a total of over $1.5 million in earnings and has finished in the top-10 over 30 times. 2010 and 2011 were banner years for Rose as he finished third in the Angler of the Year race consecutively. 2011 also marked a career-high third-place finish at the Forrest Wood Cup.

Rose is known as structure fishing master and an electronics aficionado, harboring several large GPS and sonar units on the front deck of his boat. Rose is also known for his love of fishing crankbaits on the Tennessee and Mississippi River systems – thus prompting on-stage references to Rose being a “river rat”. He believes that his versatility as an angler is one of his greatest strengths. As a former centerfielder for the Arkansas State University baseball team, Rose loves watching baseball when he’s not fishing. He also enjoys hunting and spending time with his daughters.

    BIO

As a small child I cut my teeth fishing farm ponds and small lakes alongside my fishing hero’s - my Dad and grandfather. From that point on I was hooked.  The passion for bass fishing is definitely in my blood.

My hero’s taught me a lot about life like the value of honesty and a strong work ethic.  I have used these two character traits to build a successful flooring business – Haynes Hardwood Flooring.

Even though I had the passion, I knew there was still a lot to learn about fishing.  Understanding the dynamics of larger lakes was definitely one area where I could use a little schooling.  Growing up I had very little opportunity to fish large, deep water lakes and I felt that I was at a disadvantage.

Fortunately, I met a man that would become a very dear friend and fishing mentor, Mr. Long.  Mr. Long was generous enough to teach me everything he knew about deep water fishing.  I soaked it up like a sponge.

In 1998 I moved to Pickwick, Tennessee and was able to put all my newfound knowledge to the test. I learned everything I could about the lake and started fishing local tournaments.  I have now awakened my second passion – tournament fishing.

In 2008 the FLW EverStart tournament came to town and after a lot of persuading by my wife and my parents, I entered the tournament and won.  It was an awesome day, one I will never forget.

Shortly thereafter, the Professional Anglers Association announced a 4-man team tournament the “Corporate Cup” on Pickwick Lake.   I became a member of the association and our team, Haynes Hardwood Flooring, won the event.

Winning these two events and competing against some of the best anglers in the nation, ignited my dream of one day competing on the professional tours. I am now ready in my personal and professional life to make that leap.

I will still continue to operate Haynes Hardwood Flooring under the same high standards that it’s known for, but I will also embrace new challenges and opportunities to learn more about the sport that I love so much, bass fishing.

God has certainly blessed me in many ways, a wonderful and loving family, a successful 22-year business and the strength and ability to do what it takes to fulfill my dream.
